Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started?

You can begin by filling out our quick assessment form so we can review your background and check for potential eligibility for student financing ahead of time. You also have the option to book a consultation or do both. If you choose to fill out the form only, we’ll follow up with updates. If you’d prefer to chat with us first, that’s completely fine too. We’re here to help however you feel most comfortable.

Can you help me find the right program?

Yes. We work with a variety of partner colleges across Alberta, offering programs in fields like healthcare, business, technology, and trades. Our goal is to help you find a program that fits your interests, goals, and schedule. You can explore some of the popular program options here:

Are there flexible learning options available?

Most of the colleges we work with offer flexible learning formats, including online, in-person, hybrid, or modular schedules. We’ll work with you to find the type of learning that suits your lifestyle and commitments.

Are student grants or financial assistance available?

There are a variety of funding options available depending on your personal situation. These include student loans, grants, scholarships, and other financial assistance. We'll help you explore what you may qualify for and guide you through the process.

Are there any current incentives or offers from colleges?

Some private colleges offer special incentives for certain intakes or programs. These can include things like free laptops, books, uniforms, or even cash allowances. Availability depends on the program and intake date, and we’ll share the most up-to-date information when you inquire.

I’m interested — what’s the next step?

That’s great. Once you let us know you're ready, we’ll start with a short assessment to better understand your background and goals. From there, we’ll check your eligibility for available financial assistance and help connect you with the right program. We’ll also walk you through the admissions process with the college you choose.

I'm a previous student. Can I still apply?

Yes, you can still apply for a new program. However, if you’ve previously accessed government-funded student loans or grants, we’ll need to check whether you’re still eligible. This usually depends on how much of your lifetime loan or grant limit has been used.

I’ve recently applied. Can you still help if I want to switch?

We can help, but it depends on how far along you are in the process. If you’ve already signed a contract, received your funding, or started your classes, your options may be limited—but not impossible. Let us know your current situation, and we’ll help you explore what’s possible.

I applied through someone else but haven’t heard back. Can you assist me instead?

If someone else is already assisting you for an active application, we recommend checking in with them first—especially if an application has already been successfully submitted. Duplicate submissions can sometimes cause conflicts, miscommunication, delays, or even can affect your funding eligibility if you've already applied for one.

We always value integrity and transparency. We don’t limit students to just one or two options. Instead, we work with a wide range of programs and colleges to help you find what truly fits your goals, background, and preferences. And if we don’t have what you’re looking for, we’ll still guide you with helpful resources or point you in the right direction.

We believe students should feel empowered, involved, informed and supported throughout the entire process—and we sincerely respect that you have the freedom to choose who you move forward with. If you feel you’re not getting the support you need and have completely decided to work with us instead, we’d be happy to take it from here and assist you. We do our best to handle each case with care and professionalism, while avoiding any confusion or overlap with other advisors.
